Congressman Jim McDermott is the chair of the Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support of the House Ways and Means Committee. He requested that the GAO evaluate the HHS Healthy Marraige and Responsible Fatherhood Initative. The GAO report was sent to Rep. McDermott in September and contained many criticisms. I know that ATMP wants to end federal funding of marriage promotion. This is the guy who can help make that happen.
